“I bought a Noah Rosewood / Spruce electric at the recent GSUF 2015 festival and have been amazed by its quality. As someone who owns a lot of ukuleles (this was lucky number 13!), I feel I have a clear understanding of what I want in an instrument – and this ticks absolutely every box. It has immediately become my number 1 tenor!” – Martin H Lots of people have asked when I was going to add a Rosewood / Spruce electric model to the Noah range – well, here it is! So far the feedback from customers has been great and I’m really looking forward to hearing from more people about what they think of it.

The Noah Electro Rosewood / Spruce is a recent addition to my range of ukuleles, and was a big hit at the Summer festivals which I’ve exhibited at this year. In terms of sound, the woods complement each other so well, giving not only a sweet tone but also a wonderful projection both when strummed and finger-picked. The electro version previously had a cutaway but now has the same full-body shape as the Noah Classic Sunburst. It is supplied with Aquila strings and a soft padded case. It is available in concert and tenor sizes. Listen to a Noah Rosewood / Spruce tenor being played here. And here! Wait a minute, also here!

The Electro Rosewood / Spruce benefits from the addition of a Fishman Sonitone preamp, which delivers a dynamic but natural sound, and has adjustable volume and tone controls.

My Noah Spruce top / rosewood electro-tenor (cutaway) arrived last week, so not too many hours played yet, though I am rapidly building them up. It’s a joy. The set up is superb, with the action as good as anything I’ve played/seen. Tonally it is a little more reserved than some, but that’s no bad thing. It’s such a sweet sound and if I need more, I can just plug it in! I’ll be back once finances permit.
