Description
The Noah Electro Rosewood / Spruce was added to the Noah range a few years ago and was a really popular model. However, CITES restrictions meant that we stopped making this model for quite some time. These restrictions were lifted in 2019 and so it is now available once again. In terms of sound, the woods complement each other so well, giving not only a sweet tone but also a wonderful projection both when strummed and finger-picked. The electro version previously had a cutaway but now has the same full-body shape as the Noah Classic Sunburst. It has some premium features such as a slotted headstock and pin bridge. There will be videos of this new updated version of the Rosewood / Spruce tenor coming soon. For now, you can listen to the previous version of the Noah Rosewood / Spruce tenor being played by clicking the links below:
The Electro Rosewood / Spruce benefits from the addition of a Fishman Sonitone preamp, which delivers a dynamic but natural sound, and has adjustable volume and tone controls.

My Noah Spruce top / rosewood electro-tenor (cutaway) arrived last week, so not too many hours played yet, though I am rapidly building them up. It’s a joy. The set up is superb, with the action as good as anything I’ve played/seen. Tonally it is a little more reserved than some, but that’s no bad thing. It’s such a sweet sound and if I need more, I can just plug it in! I’ll be back once finances permit.
